The room had an iron/ironing board, a microwave and a fridge that many other motels don't. It also offered a free breakfast that was not often offered by other motels. Another thing is being next door to Denny's restaurant that is open 24 hours a day and serves great breakfasts 24 hours a day.

What truly sets the Econo Lodge in Orillia apart is the staff's dedication to guest satisfaction. Every member of the team, from housekeeping to management, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Their local knowledge and willingness to assist with any request made me feel valued and appreciated as a guest.

Room was clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Location was close to all amenities. I liked that check out time was noon.

There were so many negative comments in the reviews but it was actually quite decent. The staff were very friendly and helpful they allowed our two dogs and made them even feel welcome . I would come back sure it was slightly dated but not at all like the reviews claimed it to be

The staff are friendly and helpful. I was allowed to check in early as I arrived earlier than planned. I really appreciate that they don't take a deposit and then hold your money for 7 days before giving it back as other hotels do. It met all of my expectations for an inexpensive hotel and I would go back!!

Room is spacious and pets are welcome. Parking lot is free and nearby. Restaurants and fastfood are nearby Hotel staff are friendly and always ready to help.

The breakfast was ok. It would have been nice to have fruit & yogurt as a gluten free choice. The location was handy for the things we had to do.

I missed breakfast so I cant comment.. Comfortable bed. Glad that I could turn off AC when got to cool. Couldnt figure out TV. Didn;t use. The cleaning of rooms started early for me.....vacuum cleaning woke me x 2. PS Was in bed late. Pleasant staff. Would like to see carpet upgrade. My room had holes/tears. Thats all I can comment on.
